Is Flonase Intake For Allergies In A New Environment Advisable?

I am a stem cell transplant failure in remission from AML. I just moved to Florida and have had a cold, then the flu, and now have residual productive cough from drainage. Runny nose every day, then tons of coughing. I would like to try Flonase in case it s actually allergies in new environment. I take famciclovir twice daily to prevent shingles. Is it ok to try this?

hello,welcome to healthcaremagic

i would like you to advice to try and adapt to the new environment as you have to stay there for long.

if you start using medications to suppress your reaction then you will always need them

secondly flonase is a very strong medication, it is given only when your symptoms dont subside with normal anti allergic medications.

my advice to you is try and adapt into new environment without any medication, whenever you develop symptoms take levocetrizine5mg and monteleukast 10mg. and if sever consult nearby doctor.

hope it helps.
thank you
