Is Ecosprin Advisable For Leg Pain?
Hi my dad developed severe pain along his left leg while sleeing at night and now had pain in his left thigh while walking , relieved on rest but painful on touching the medial aspect of his left thigh.he has mildy raised creatinine levels.and he suspects dee ceun thrombosis.is it okay to take ecosprin? And what is the next step?

Hello,
You have to go for a venous Doppler to rule out DVT (deep vein thrombosis). Once the DVT is confirmed drugs like heparin or warfarin has to be started. Ecospirin is not recommended and not a drugs for DVT. It can be used for peripheral vascular diseases.
