Hello, * The Clingen forte is having a combination of Clindamycin, Clotrimazole and Tinidazole as a soft gelatin capsule to be inserted into the vagina every night for a period of 5-7 days depending upon the clinical condition and extent of infection. Though the systemic form intake of individual or combination of molecules are associated with side effects as diarrhea, stomatitis and others ; vaginal pessaries are very safe with very few side effects as: - irritation after insertion for a period of few minutes to hour or so - increase discharge per vagina through drug absorption or dissolution. So far as sex activity resumption is concerned, in my clinic, I do recommend abstinence from sex till the therapy period is over. Hope I have answered your query.
