Is Cerelac Advisable For A 6 Month Old Child?

hi doctor , i m working women. so, i cant feeding hole day. my girl baby is six month and 2 day and having a 6.5kg weight . in morning i giving mung dal water, rice water, and in afternoon , i giving orange juice. Please suggest me can i give cerelac in which flavor?How many can i give cerelac in day? and other which food or liquid i give to her?

Hi... can understand your concern.As per your query ,cerelac can be given to your baby as your baby has completed 6 months .Cerelac contains cereal bifidus which is also a probiotic and is not going to harm your baby.It also contains other nutrients.You can give cerelac 2-3 teaspoon with 100-150 ml luke warm water to form a semi solid form as per her appetite.Your baby's weight is appropriate according to age.Slowly her appetite will also increase and you can also give mashed banana and potatoes ,kheer ,wheat flour halwa.As you are working it will be hard for you to manage but try to make effort to breastfeed your baby inbeetween so that she is not deprived of any nutrient.Breast feeding boost ups the baby's immunity very fast to fight from common infections...Keep your baby hydrated by giving wter in between to prevent any constipation.I hope the information going to help you.Take care.
