Is BP Reading Of 98/63 A Cause For Concern?
I am 65. I have lost considerable weight over last 9 months. At peak weight, I had BP range of 130/80 plus even taking 10 mg lisinopril and 25 mg atenolol. My routine has been very vigorous exercise especially over last 5 months as weight dropped and conditioning improved. No chronic health issues so I am lucky. ??? For the last weeks, my BP has actually recorded 98/63 still taking 10 mg of lisinopril I am not athlete. Is that too low?

Let me tell you that a blood pressure reading of 98/63 will be considered normal if you are not on blood pressure medicines. But as you are taking Lisinopril 10 mg for blood pressure then you need to consult your doctor as your BP medication needs to be adjusted. You are taking a higher dose that has to be corrected.
