Hello,

Welcome to healthcare magic.

Acne is caused by an interplay of hormones, sebum secretion and bacterial overgrowth.

The treatment depends on the grade and severity of acne.

Azee is azithromycin which is an antibiotic commonly used to treat acne. It is usually safe and well tolerated. It gives good results in moderate acne. It is usually given as weekly pulses three days a week. However, some doctors follow different protocols based on their experience.

Amc 500 is also the same antibiotic from a different company.

You could also discuss about taking a medicine called as Isotretinoin. This is a tablet which has to be taken under regular supervision and monitoring by your dermatologist. Pregnancy is strictly not allowed while on this medicine. It gives very good results.

You could also try topical preparations like clindamycin in the morning and benzoyl peroxide/ Adapelele combination at bedtime.

You could get salicylic acid based peels done by your dermatologist.

You should have a healthy diet rich in anti oxidants. Have upto 2 liters of water every day,

Hope this helps you.

Take care.
