Is Athlete S Foot More Dangerous Than Foot Fungus?

My husband has athletes feet but is leaking and won t seem to heal. The doctor prescribed him creams and pills both antibiotics and steriods. He has to wear steel toe shoes at work and since it leaks he wraps his foot up. Is it more serious than a foot fungus?

Foot fungus is the other name for athletes foot. In athletes foot you get a fungal infection specifically due to moisture in shoes ( mostly joggers in athletes) so named as athletes foot.

He needs to stick to the treatment as it takes time to heal up.
