Intermittent Bleeding During Periods, Brown In Color. Had Unprotected Sex. Am I Pregnant?

Hi I am 26 and I had unprotected intercourse on the 30th of June and for a couple of days afterwards. My cycle is normally 26 days and true to form it has arrived on time. This time however my flow has been very intermittent all day but has been dark brown with intermittent bleeding and I haven't had any other pms symptoms. Is it possible that I am pregnant?

Hi,
Thank you for posting your question here, I will try to answer it to the best of my abilities.

Brown coloured discharge usually occurs because all of your endometrial lining didnt flow out in your last period, as such it is flowing out in your current period. This is what makes it's colour brown and not bright red. As such dont worry, this a normal phenomenon and happens to many women.
If you are still worried about being pregnant, you can take a home pregnancy test, but I dont think it is required, I dont think you are pregnant.
