Hi

If her problem is due to blocked nose alone- you may use Nasoclear nasal drops- 2 drops in each nostril every 4 to 6 hours.
If you see thick secretions too, you may use a bulb sucker to suck the secretions after instillation of nasoclear drops.
If there is a runny nose too, you may use nasal decongestant drops like Nasivion Mini as SOS, when running nose is too much. But do not use it often as it might dry up the nose and cause more of nasal blockade.

About her cough- the cough syrup has to be decided based on the type of cough, presence or absence of chest signs, presence or absence of night symptoms.
Usually Ambrolite S and betnesol are given if the cough is associated with wheeze.

If its a wheeze (narrowing of airways) that is causing the cough and if there is no response to medications like ambrolite S syrup, you may try giving her Nebulisations of Asthalin after getting prescribed by a doctor. You may give nebulisations every 6 hours for few days.
That might help her.

Its bit difficult to decide about cough medications without examining the child.
Hope my answer helps you.

Wish your daughter a speedy recovery.

Hi,
Thank you for your query,
Cold and cough usually take time for relief even with medication.
Continue the medication as advised by your Peditrician.
For nose block you can give nasal saline drops into each nostril whenever there is block, especially before feeding and just before sleeping.
Hope I have answered your query.
