In August, we found a 3.2 cm cyst on an ovary. In mid-October we'll look again to see if it's there, has grown, or has shrunk.

Meanwhile, I've spent my entire deductible in 2018 on trying to find out why I have this lower abdominal pain. My appendix was removed 25 years ago otherwise I'd suspect the appendix as the cause. The only other thing in that area is the right ovary. Right?

Today, I asked my doc if we could run this test called CA125 and she declined, doesn't want to do it.

I'm 34 years old with low right abdominal pain persistent for months, my periods have changed recently, and I've lost 30 pounds this year without trying. I'm surprised she doesn't want to run the test. I’d like your opinion on what is the best path forward. Do I need that test or is there no reason to do it?

Hello I am 20 years old. I recently had an 8 pound terratoma that was the size of a grapefruit removed along with my right ovary and fallopian tube in August. I found out in November that I have another solid cyst growing on my left ovary about 3 cm. Being that I am young I would like to have kids. Do you think I will lose this ovary too? Also does having an ovary removed shorten life span?

The MRI of my wife say: Large Complex multiloculated cystic SOL in right Adnexal area, Measusirn 6.5x6.2x5.7 cm approx. Areas of sub-acute haemorrhage seen within the cyst. Part of Right ovary is abutting the cystic SOL. Smaller T2 hyperintense, T1 hypointense cystic SOL with fluid contents in left adnexal area, measuring 3.2x2.6x2.5 Cm part of left ovary abutting this SOL. Our doctor suggested for Laparoscopic surgery to remove those cysts . As she was under treatment for conceiving, she was given Fertomed 50, on CD-3 to CD-7. USG done on day 12 where they found a large folicle 3.2x2.0x3.0 with two more folicles of normal size, USG done at Day 16 shows Larger folicle 4.5x5.0x5.0. thereafter the MRI was done on day 17th. MRI observations mentioned above. Please suggest, if this is haemorrhagic cyst or endometriotic cyst?, Is it necessary to surgically removing it or it can be treated with medicines? Thanks Harish
