I'm a 59.5yr. old female with an enterocele, after having 4natural live births largest boy was 10lbs 4oz. I had a burst appendix at 23. with adhesions following. Then, prolapse uterus where I used a pessary for many years. To get rid of the pessary, I had a hysterectomy, then problem with prolapse bladder, sent to someone who did sling, now I have enterocele and problems at work with trapped feces and smell without any outside evidence of matter. I experimented with several home made tricks, and now use O.B. tampons, (2) in my rectum to keep from smelling. Can this be harmful or toxic? I do have to push past some hemorrhoids that bleed to insert the tampons. I change once or twice a day. a Dr. sent me to PT which did not help enough. I need to last in my job another 3 years. The supporting vag. wall has the mesh embedded in it now. Is there any help for me, other than tampons?
