I was born with under developed ovaries, the doctor I go to now has put me on birth control. I have not had my menstrual cycle yet. I have a twin sister who s a minute older and she has had her menstrual cycle since age 13. They tell me that I may never have children and I m 20 years old. Are there any others out there who have the same thing I do , and what can I do? Please I m at a loss thank you.
I've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.
Delayed puberty might be due to hormonal disturbances, medical problems, genetic disorders etc. I advice you to, - to access the levels of FSH/LH to rule out ovarian disease if any - Hormonal injections (HCG) for 2-3months ( to stimulate the development of secondary sexual characteristics) - tab. Cabergolin for a month
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Get well soon.
