I recently had a trans vaginal ultrasound check on a cyst. The cyst was gone but under the impression part of the results it’s said “iud in the endometrium.” Nurses that I talked to said that is a bad thing, meaning it is embedded, is that true?

Hi, I am 32 years old, 1.58m, 52kg. I just have two IVF cicles and both failed. I had a hyperestimulation with 17 eggs. However, only 6 had survived and we were able only to try twice, the reminiscent eggs also died. My last period, which was the one to check the IVF hasn t worked, was on April 22 and so far I haven t bleed... yesterday I had an Transvaginal Ultrasound and the diagnoses was: I. Uterus: 5.24 x 5.74 x 4.05 cm (LxWxH) Anteverted Abnormalities noted: the anterior wall measures 1.07 cms while the posterior wall measures 2.1 cms with coarse achotecture and a heterogenous mass of ill defined borders within measuring 3.28x2.9x2.2cms II. Endometrium: 1.01 cm Hyperechoic Compatible with Secretory Phase No Abonormalities IV. Adnexae: no abormalities VI. No fluid in the cul-de-sac Diagnosis: Normal-sized anteverted uterus with intact endometrium. Consider posterior adenomyosis as described. Normal both ovaries with a follicle in the left.My doctor is out of town. I will see her on Saturday, but I am really anxious regarding this.

Good morning Dr. I have undergone a Transvaginal Ultrasound last Aug 28, 2013. The results were: Retroverted average sized uterus with Homogenous Myometrium; Trilaminar Endometrium; Normal Ovaries; (+) Fluid in the Cul-De-Sac. Grateful for your advised.
