I Have Yellow Fingertips. It Become Black When I Rubbed

A coworker noticed my fingertips turn yellow, I rubbed my hands together and they went back to normal in a few seconds, but she's concerned. This happens a lot, usually when I'm cold, but I'm always cold. I have extra heaters at my desk & at home keep the thermostat set at 78. I've mentioned it to my dr, but he wasn't concerned so I left it at that. Should I be doing anything about this? It does seem to be happening more frequently.

Hi,

Thanks for query,
Nothing to worry,in cold atmosphere there is vaso constrictions of blood vesseles of finger tips so it may look pale or yellow.
After giving heat by your hands or by heater there is vasodilation and fingertips become alright,
Ok and bye.

Hi welcome to Healthcaremagic

Hi..., the above condition is normal...,
the pallor in the finger is due to pressure effect and vasoconstriction due to cold condition...
nothing to worry.., keep yourself warm by sweathers, gloves, socks......
the above will prevent the recurrent attacks..
Hope I have answered your question..

Takecare...
