I Have Been On Synthroid Since 1990 Without Any Problems.

I have been on synthroid since 1990 without any problems. My dosage was recently increased from25 mci to 125 mci following a thyroidectomy. The right lobe was removed in 2003 and the left last year. My TSH scores have been off the chart. Following the operation, it was .012 and the doctor reduced the med to 25. The next TSH test was 68+ and the dosage changed to 125. The very latest TSH test showed .024, but the doctor is keeping my dosage at 125. This weekend I started having an allergic reation to the med as I took the pill at 5:30a.m. and immediatedly the throat started swelling. Could this be b/c of too much synthroid?
