Is Synthroid A Brand Name?
Is Synthroid a brand name? My pharmacy is claiming that the synthroid is the name used for levothyroxine- both for the generic and the brand name and that if I want a brand name I have to order : Brand Synthroid and if I want generic I have to specify Generic Synthroid. I was under the impression that levothyroxine is the general name and that Synthroid is a brand name.
