I Have Been On Gralise Since Nov. 17, Starting Low

I have been on Gralise since Nov. 17, starting low dosage, and gradually reaching 1,800 mgs a day. In the meantime I was told to gradually get off of 30 mgs of Hydrocodone a day that I've been on for 7 years for L-3,L-4, L-5, S-1.....also, taking 1, 10 mg diazepean so I could sleep. I have had peripheral neuropathy since 1995, causing pain, then this lower back issue for 7 years, and the pain just did not get better. Went to the neurologist that diagnosed the PN in 1995, he's now Chief of Neurology at a large hospital. The nice thing about Gralise is that I slept 7-8 hours nightly for the first time in eons. Dec. 22nd noticed a red rash, lower left leg, no other place on my body, then yesterday and today my feet and ankles were really swollen. So bad I could not wear any shoes, only slippers. Not the norm for me at all. Early this week, primary care doctor ordered my legs checked for blood clots, and I do NOT have any whatsoever. The swelling of the feet and ankles were not as pronounced when I saw her last week. Yet, she was concerned due to my age. Queston,
can Gralise cause the swelling? Is it bad to take 5 mg diazepan, and 5 mgs of hydrocodone with Graiise.
