I have been on Bumex 50 mg Bid. two weeks ago I was put on aldactone bid as well. I have portal hypertension, 26 cm enlarged spleen. over the weekend I developed pain in right knee. by sunday the pain was gone, but developed bilateral wrist pain and by the afternoon developed left knee pain pain. I was told to drink 100 ounces of liquid a day, but do not feel I have been voiding anywhere near that amount since Thursday. Does this warrent an ER visit or can I wait to call my MD in the morning. It is now 2100 here.
