What Causes Unusual Excessive Menstrual Bleeding?
I have always had regular period on the day every month at 30 days have period two days but now this month had three periods one Oct 10 to 13 then had one 15 to 18 now on period from 27 and still on it it s very heavy very bright red and has strong smell of old blood

Excessive heavy bleeding during menses can be due to infection of genital tract / hormonal imbalance in menopausal age. It can be abnormality of uterine lining, condition like fibroids, cervical problems, ovarian or thyroid problems. A complete range of investigations to assess genital health is to be done to find cause followed by specific management.
