I Have A Perforated Septum. The Hole Is Large Enough

I have a perforated septum. The hole is large enough to pass a q-tip thru it with room to spare. I have severe COPD which requires 2-3 l. O2, 24/7. The hole in the septum is almost constantly scabbed over, bleeding, and sore.

I also have a small cyst at the very outer edge of the septum which, I am told, is related to the MRSA colony in my nose. The cyst will suddenly become red, inflamed, drain a yellowish pus, and then heal over but never disappear.

Are these two conditions related? What should be done for both?
