I have a fear of being examined by doctors. Im a 24 year old female and Im pretty sure I have polycystic ovaries. I have symptoms such as excessive hair growth and have some facial hair on my chin. I also have irregual periods. So irregular that I could go more than a year without one then when I do get one it lasts for up to three weeks. My fear of being examined is mainly down to the excessive hair. I cannot shave or wax as I have sensitive skin and I end up with large red bumps and sometimes cysts after I remove the hair, adding to my fear of being exposed. Also I am a virgin and have never taken my clothes off in front of anyone. I have a fear if being naked or partially naked. I dont know what to do as I really want to get to the bottom of all my issues but my fear of being examined is greater than my fear of the results.
