I have a couple holes in my tonsils, they occasionally get "stones" in them. They are bothering me a lot more in the last 2 months. I have frequent tonsillitis (2x a year) The last few weeks I always feel like I have "something" stuck in my throat. My lymph nodes have been swollen, hard and tender. I do not feel like I have a normal bout of Tonsillitis, they mostly feel irritated and are a dull ache radiating to my ear, jaw and down my neck. I think I should have had my tonsils out years ago.
