I have a Pituitary Tumor (diagnosed in 1990). First, I was prescribed Bromocriptine (Parlodel)... I stopped taking THIS medication because of the side effects. Then I was prescribed Cabergoline (Dostinex)... I was on THIS medication for about 15 years. I stopped taking it about 4 months ago, after finding out/being diagnosed with Heart Valve Disease (Mitral Valve and Tricuspid Valve Regurgitation). Since being OFF this medication (Dostinex), my Prolactin level has increased...going from "normal/controlled" (under 25) to 33.3 (in January, 2015) and 45.2 (in March, 2016). My current Endocrinologist, wants to put me back on Bromocriptine. I don't feel good about this "Treatment Plan"... I remember the horrible side effects, and I don't care to go through THAT again. Do you know of any "natural" alternative/remedy, that I can use to lower my Prolactin level?
