I had the Crystal lens placed in my left eye a week ago. After the removal of the shield I could see very well in distance, however, I cannot see well in my surrounding area. Meaning that my vision is blurred when just doing normal housework, trying to read my FB , emails making dinner or even looking at my watch to see the time. Will it take time for this to clear, I am terribly upset. The reading glasses do not work for what I need as a normal vision. The reading glasses are ok for reading or trying to balance my check book. How long is the healing process. When I discussed this with my dr. he assured me that I should have GREAT vision and only need reading glasses for close up. I do have to put eye drops in for 8 weeks. If you can give me any assurance or advise I truly would appreciate it. Thank you
