I Had A Nuclear Stress Test. The Treadmill Was Discontinued

I had a nuclear stress test. The treadmill was discontinued at approx. 200 BPM and I began coughing as the imaging was being done. The cough subsides after about 15 minutes. At the follow-up appointment my cardiologist reviewed the results with me and indicated that the computer analysis was indicating that I was normal, but he said that the coughing is cause for concern and reported the test as being inconclusive. He recommended a catheter examination. I am preparing to have this procedure done based on G.P.s advice. I'm 55 years old and have blood cholesterol in normal ranges.
Is my cardiologists concern well founded?
