I Got Rubella Test Positive. What Does It Mean ?

hello doctor. I am 26 years old. I am a pragnent and today I went to the hospital for monthly check up. its 11 weeks now and I got rubella test positive. what does it mean ? doctor didnot tell me any thing about this? is this a serious problem or its normal ? why do they test rubella ? please solve my query. awaiting for the reply

Hi,Infection with rubella may sometimes increase chances of spontaneous abortion.Not necessary that it will happen but you need to be vigilent with your doctor's visits.
