I fell directly on my right knee cap and it immediately became swollen. I placed an ice pack that same day, but was still able to walk with severe pain. The swelling for the most part has gone down, but aside from the wonderful colors my knee is displaying, I now have a large bump under my knee cap..opposite side of where I hit. My knee burns a little and sometimes I still have pain depending on how I move it. Could I have broken my patella?
