I Feel Discomfort When I Urinate After Intercouse

When I urinate after intercouse there is some discomfort. I feel slight stinging or burning or sometimes a shooting pain. I have gone in for several check ups and they have not seen any UTIs. Is this normal or is there something else I should be concerned about?
