I am on 100 mg per day of Sertraline. Five days after taking it I developed contact dermatitis around my eyes. This has been going for 4 or 5 months with no answer for the cause. I've done everything that can be done such as no makeup which I never wear anyway, shampoo and soap without perfumes etc. I have big red bags under my eyes the size of bing cherries with itchy eye lids and red watery eyes. I finally decided to research the side effects of sertraline and find some of my symptoms listed. I see my primary care tomorrow. Can this drug cause these symptoms. They are on the extensive list which I am printing out to show my doctor.
