I Am Diabetic And Have Scabies. Been Treated 3 Times

I am diabetic and have scabies. Been treated 3 times using the permethrin cream procedure over the last 4 months. Last 2 times a triamcinolone cream was used in conjunction in the treatment. Currently I am using the triamcinolone cream with ketoconazole 200mg pills.

Initially I and another person got infected in the same time and place. He has cured using the permethrin cream with a single application; I am diabetic and my infections goes away but returns. I am cautious not to be reinfected, clothing, bedding and have not able to prevent scabies from returning.
I seen primary care dr. And dermalogist? Any suggestions? Is diabetes interfering with treatments?
