Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 55 year old married female in good health, low bloodpressure my whole life 110/60, low cholesteral (160) slightly high triglycerides, 5'2" 150 lbs. I take no medications. I've watched my diet my whole life and eat healthy foods, lots of vegetables etc. I am a trained software engineer but have been a stay at home mom who has had a fairly stressful life of raising 3 boys/men. Now caring for my elderly parents. Also involved in many volunteer activities and recently started a part time job. I have done aerobics for 15 years until 2 years ago when I tore my achilles tendon. I've continued to walk 3+ miles 4-5 times a week with no symptoms. But when I have gone on strenuous uphill hikes with my husband I have recently experienced moderate pain in both jaws. What is the probably that I have heart disease? Can I reverse it?
