I am a 46 yr old menopausal woman. I recently had 3-4 days of bleeding-dark brown blood but only a small amount at the same time of day, over 4 days. I have had occasional period like cramps over the last few months but not had a period for over 2 years. My ob/gyn had done bloods and my hormone levels are very low. At a recent general check he noticed I had a shadow on one ovary. The size did not concern him at that time but asked that I go back in 3 months time. What range of things could this be? I am in generally good health taking no medication or HRT.
