Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 33yo male in good health and have had low back pain for a few months and recently my Dr. ordered an MRI. Following the scan I decided to review my own images and saw what looks like white shading on the vertabrae where I am having the pain. I can also see what looks like a herniation of the disc, my worry is not about the herniation but the white shading on the vertabrae, stupidly I googled and of course my worry is cancer. What other things could likely make the vertabrae show this kind of white shading on the vertabrae near where the pain/herniation seems to be.
