Hyterectomy Done. Hips, Legs, Knees Paining. Thigh Numb And Tight After Surgery. Advised To Stop Work Out

I run/walk about 5 miles a day & am on my feet at work. I had a lap. hysterectomy in late April, and went back to work a week later. I was on my feet for the month of July teaching. Now my hips, legs & even knees are really killing me. I have run & walked a lot for the past 5 yrs....but now walking kills me. My stride has shortened, my upper left thigh is still numb & tight since the surgery. Otherwise, I have been just fine. I am 62 years old. Doctors say to quit working out . I don't want to. And am otherwise in great shape. I want to blame this on the surgery. Am I right? Any ideas?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
If I would be your Doctor then I would definitely study your case before the surgery I would see how far the operation is necessary, in very rare cases and in highly indicative cases I advised for Hysterectomy otherwise I always manage medically and get the good results, here the reason of your problems may not be surgery, or may be, now only the time is solution for this with time and symptomatic management, will bring the good results you need to build up your self for this, and nothing bad will happen to you every thing will be fine, have good day.
