hello and welcome,
the gap between front teeth is due to high frenal attachment.
this condition is known as midline diasthema.
you should visit an orthodontist and get an orthopantamograph.
i advice you to get done frenectomy,ie,cutting th high frenal attachment.this will prevent the opening up of space again.z-spring along with fixed appliance can correct the spacing.
i would also advice you to put retention appliance.
please stop tongue thrusting/thumb sucking/mouthbreathing habits if you have any.
as we cannot suggest the appliance without clinical examination, get direct consultation.
you can ask your dentist for habit breaking appliance too if you have any.
do mouth exercises like, water holding in mouth for 1 minute, paper holding in b/w lips, etc.
z-spring or double cantilever spring used for labial movement of incisors and for bringing minor rotations.
get scaling and restorations done if you have any decayed tooth.

Hi Megha,
Thanks for writing your query.
I read your query,i would like to inform you that the cost of treatment vary doctor to doctor.
But i can give you a rough idea for the same.
For ceramic/invisible braces cost of treatment is around 25k to 35k.
So i will suggest you once visit an orthodotist and get the complete clinical examination done.
And according to the treatment needed he/she will tell you each and everything.
Take Care.

Hello and thank you for your question
I will say, each orthodontist will charge a different price depending on your location in your state, which state you are in and what country you are in.

Ceramic brace and invisible braces will cost more money than conventional braces.

There is a certain amount of time needed to move teeth within a certain distance. This is just based on biology. If you violate this process and speed up the movement of the teeth you could lose the length of roots due to resorption from pressure necrosis.

Go to an orthodontist and have an evaluation. Check online for your area to see who will do free consultations if money is an option. They will be able to evaluate you and give you all the information you need specific to you and your teeth.

Thank you and best wishes!

Hello
Welcome to HCM
You have got midline diastema may be due to high frenal attachment or some habit like tongue thrusting.Whatever may be the reason you need to consult orthodontist & get treatment plan accordingly.
Ceramic or invisible braces will cost more than conventional one.For Exact cost you need to consult your orthodontist.
Start your treatment as soon as possible because as age progresses results of orthodontic treatment become poor in older age group because bone resorption takes more time.

Take Care

Hello there.... Please remember that you wont have constant price for the treatment performed... It differs from doctor to doctor...there are various factors that influence the treatment cost...right from the quality of material to the quality of treatment performed....look out for the quality services rendered to you rather than the charges....Ceramic braces are usually expensive....
By the way, spacing is usually very common in the front teeth region...it is because of the thick fibrous band called the labial frenum that is attached between your upper teeth that causes the spacing... We call it mid line diastema...Few orthodontists are of the opinion that this needs to be excised before the treatment and few during the course of treatment....Duration of the treatment depends upon the condition of you bone, gums and you age....Following the closure of spacing orthodontists usually recommend a permanent retention to prevent relapse.... It usually takes a period of 6 months atleast for the closure of diastema...good luck....
