How To Withdraw From Nexium?

I have bee on Nexium for about 10 years. I do take magnesium supplements. I get my medications through Expresscripts and they tell me the price of the Nexium is going to be much higher for me in the future. I am also worried about sic=de effects. I was on a dosage of two pills per day, but have lowered my usage to one every other day. I am also 85 years old. I wish to remove all Nexium from my use. Your recommendations please.
