How To Treat The Lump In The Thigh?
Hi I have a bump with hole in the middle on the inside of my right thigh. Being curious and thinking that maybe it was just a pimple or cyst, I decided to stick a sterile needle in to the hole and try to pop it. Upon doing so a pocket of blood came out with nothing else and the bump decreased in size. If you could give me any information as to what it is and how to treat it it would be greatly appreciated needle in to the hole and try to pop it. As per your case history, you are having a sebaceous cyst.
My treatment advice is:
1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like Fusiderm cream twice daily on it
3. Take an NSAID drug like Ibuprofen for 5 to 7 days
4. Only curative treatment is excision under local anesthesia done by a dermato-surgeon
