How To Treat The Diarrhea For A Person Having Diabetic , High BP Problem ?
My mother who is 74 yrs old is suffering diareah.she has had several loose motions last night. She is is diabetic , has high BP problem and is generally weak and fragile.I hav eNorflox TZ at home can I give that to her ? or just a simple solution of salt and sugar in water will suffice for now.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, antibiotic can not be given without any indication and here in your case it does not seems to be like that, if this is the diabetes then blood sugar level needs to be maintained on tight rule basis, for the diarrhea it may be self limiting condition but care needs to be taken for dehydration if symptoms does not improved then stool needs to be sent for testing and hope this information helps.
