How To Treat Spinal Stenosis In Lower Back?

I have arthritis in my lower back. Originally doctor said arthritis around 2 deteriorated disc. Then called it spinal stenosis.Epidurals do no help any more. Have difficulty in morning hours getting out of bed. Take pain meds and walk when I can then maybe I can be up and active 4 to 6 hours. Late in day I feel pulses moving under the skin and can actually see them as well. Feels like something lightly running in my legs. I m seeing only a pain management doctor now, but contemplating seeing a rheumatologist. Any suggestions as to what this might be. I am retired and 68 years old.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, such backache could be due to degenerative disease of spinal cord and muscular spasm it can be well managed with "Tab Diclofenac with Chlorzoxazone" once in day, it is advisable to get done the MRI, such clinical condition may need surgical intervention, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
