How To Treat Scraped Skin On The Shin?

I have a severe injury from jumping on a plywood box at the gym. I scraped my entire right shin. How do I process in treating this? I have iced it for 20 minutes and wool again in 2 hrs. I have taken ibuprofen, I have it elevated, will wrap it ect. What I m miss concerned about is how long do I nerd to rest before working out again? A few month back I did the same thing on the opposite leg. The injury want as big in area but deeper in a smaller area. After it healed I noticed I have a hard lump next to the scar. It s about the size of a grape. I have no idea what that is and it only hurts if I hit it on something or knick it when shaving. I don t want any lumps on my other leg. Amy suggestions?

This could be minor injury and this would be fine soon, but here you need to take care for infection because this is the matter of concern, if this is not infected then this injury would be fine in 8 to 10 days, Ibuprofen is the drug of choice, swelling (Lump) that you are seeing could be lymph node and this is likely to appear in injury which is nothing to worry this would disappeared as soon as injury healed, take care.
