Welcome to HCM.
Understanding your concern.
This is very unfortunate thing that commonly occur during waxing or
hair removal procedure .Usually the pain ans burning sensation lasts for short period and go away by its own ,but sometimes it lasts for long period which need to be take care .
Well facial skin is very delicate and injury sometimes occur due to excess heat of wax or by removing hair too hardly .This will lead to
redness ,burning and itching like symptoms .If any cream giving you burning sensation don't apply it .
I would suggest you to -:
-Soak you skin in cool water or apply cold compresses by warping ice in cloth 3-4 times a day,but don't apply ice directly to area having burning sensation.
-Apply
aloevera gel to the affected area 2-3 times a day .
-Tke antihistamine drug for burning sensation.
-Try to avoid exposure to direct sunlight to avoid discoloration for few days .Cover your face while going outside.
-You can also apply
calamine and
zinc oxide lotion.
If the condition persists for more then a week or worsen you should
consult dermatologist,who can prescribe you
steroid creams along with some other medicines.
I hope your concern has been resolved.
