Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Pus cells alone do not suggest infection. If she gets fever again, please do urine culture. If culture is growing any bacteria, she should be treated accordingly. Since it seems like recurrent infection, consult a pediatric nephrologist and get an ultrasound to look for any anomalies in the kidneys.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Prasanna Lakshmi, Pediatrician
