How To Treat Purple Cheek Bruising With Fatigue And Leg Pain In A 2 1/2 Year Old Child?
Hello.. I am concerned about my 2 1/2 year old.. Since birth her cheeks have been beet red. Not everyday but more so than not. About maybe a year ago she started complaining about her tummy hurting. I ve noticed now that she sometimes has purple like a bruise almost on both cheeks.. Not very big but noticeable. She also has complained of being tired.. As soon as she wakes up from a 12 hour sleep. She has complained of leg pain in the right leg once she couldn t walk or stand because of the pain. I ve brought this to the attention of her doctors. Nothing. It doesn t help that she screams when we even enter the office. Please help as I am going crazy with concern. Thank you.
Hi, welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears to be the lactose intolerance, means allergy to the milk and milk products, like milk, curd, etc. The other possibility may be the allergy to some thing else, like water or clothes. I advise you to consult a pediatrician, for diagnosis and treatment. The finding of reducing substances in the stools, confirms the lactose intolerance. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms, enzymes, lactic acid bacilli, and paracetamol,if there is pains in the legs. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
