How To Treat Protruding Vein In A 5 Years Old Child?

About 2hrs ago I noticed what looked like a bulging or protruding vein on my 5yr old daughter right around her right hip bone. It is surprisingly hard to the touch, doesn't look bruised around it and she says it doesn't hurt. Any ideas as to what could be going on here? Should I be concerned? Thank you very much.

The vein is likely to be thrombosed vein.
There is n cause for concern if there is no pain and absence of discoluaration of overlying skin.
Consult Pediatrician for routine assessment.
