How To Treat Pinched Nerve From The Shoulder Blade To The Neck?

I think I have a pinched nerve which runs from the shoulder blade to the top of my neck, close to the top inside of my ear. What can be done with this strain like pain. It seems if I turn my head head one way the pain increases...the other way it immediately eases. Thank you

Hello,

I think you may need to do a x-ray of the cervical spine. It seems like a pinched nerve in the cervical spine possible a bone spur pressing on the nerve root. You may need to take antiinflammatory drugs such ibuprofen or naproxen for pain and relieve inflammation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka
