General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The persistent cough indicates underlying Respiratory Tract infection.

In our hospital, we recommend:

- Gargles with salted lukewarm water added Epsom salt.
- Antibiotic as per the culture report of throat swab.
- Plenty of liquids with dietary measures.
- An X-ray chest and blood tests as per the progress.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
