How To Treat Painful Intercourse Post Vaginal Repair?

I am 7 weeks post op anterior and posterior vaginal repair with mesh. My partner and I attempted intercourse last night (just the tip) and it seems as if I am just too tight and there is a ridge at the opening which is painful to get past. Is this normal. I am 54.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, looking to the history given here I think the wound have been healed and sealed but if you still experience the pain then this could be due to the scar tissue and fibrosis that might have developed, in my opinion using the lubrication would be advisable for the pain the best option is Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg, hope this information helps you, have a nice day.
