General & Family Physician 's  Response
I understand your concern for your child.
Loose motion, abdominal pain and passing gas is the sign of Abdominal infection possibly of anaerobic infection. Do not give him glucose water. This will disturb his electrolyte balance.
My advice is give Oral Retardation Solution (ORS) as and when he feel thirsty (as much as he can drink). Give him antibiotic like Ofloxacin+Ornidazole kid tablet twice daily for 5 days. Give oral famotidine tablet half twice daily for 5 days, Tab Brufen kid twice daily for 5 days.
Give him butter milk or curd to drink, avoid spicy and fried foods.
Hope this will help you.
