Hi..Can understand your concern. As per your query about dislocation of jaw after a head injury may be due opening of mouth too wide during which the condyle of mandible (in TMJoint)moved out of its socket and not getting back into it when closing the mouth.During this there is loosening of ligaments and suuounding muscles goes into spasm..You should not worry ,i advice you to consult a dentist who will prescribe you to take muscle relaxant like Aceclo MR .Once the muscle relaxes dentist will guide your mandible back into position by opening and closing your mouth..I hope the information helps you.I will be glad to if any further query is there.Take care.
