How To Treat Itching Sensation And Pain On Skin Caused Due To Bug Bite?

I have a bug bite that looks like ringworm. It itches and it hurts. It s dry and my skin is raised where the spot is. Any suggestions as to what has bitten me? I ve been using hydrocortisone cream for 3 days but no change. I have had this bite for over a week.

Thanks for using HCM, I understand your concern and will try to give you my medical advice, Is really difficult to identify what kind a bug bit you because there are different species, but probably was the most frequent in your area.
I think using the steroid cream is a good idea because that can help you to relieve the symptoms, when the bug bit you inoculated toxins through the skin and your body needs some time (2-3 weeks) to absorb the inflammatory fluids, just avoid some infection with a good hygiene and you will be fine, I hope that my advice has been helpful, take care
